New EP “TGJ Grooving and Dancing”
OKYO GROOVE JYOSHI is an all female jazz/soul/funk groove band.
The band’s New EP “TGJ Groove & Dancing” is released 20th January 2024 for the first time in a year.
This is TGJ’s third EP , which marks the fifth year since the band’s formation and is considered to be “the best EP in terms of the balance of songs.”by the musical critics.
TGJ’s musical director Toshitaka Shibata superbly provided of the direction, arrangements, and some of compositions for the New EP.
The EP also includes songs written by the members of TGJ.
The NewEP Contains 3 instrumentals “Story of Mellow” “Copper Ravens”, and “Keep On Vibes”.
“Dance to the Music” has keyboardist Emi on lead vocals.
The song “Just I am” has recorded with drummer MiMi on lead vocals.
The New EP Contains a total of 5 original songs.
